…my coworker brought his sons into the office after parent/teacher conferences. They were discussing one of our employees that came up today from our Indianapolis office who happens to be French. The boy, who is probably about 8 asked his dad “Dad, who is that and why does he talk like that?” My coworker explained that this is Claude and he works in Indianapolis and he is French, which is why he has that accent. He asked his son if he wanted to meet him and if he has ever met anyone from France before. The son replied “Dad, my friend Caitlyn is French”. My coworker asked, “Oh really, how do you know she’s French?” The son replied “Duh dad, she says Dudette ALL the time”
