Lessons for the week

1. Mouth wounds bleed a lot. And when your 13 month old falls over and bites the inside of her cheek, even though the amount of blood is alarming, they don’t really do anything when you take them to the emergency room.
2. Don’t give the baby a red popsicle. It looked like someone or something was murdered in my kitchen.
Madeline has recovered fully from her little spill, and her eye surgery was this morning. She did great — they fixed her all up and we’re already home.

Well at least you have hit your quota for hospital visits for the year, what a relief not to worry about that for the next 11 months
Glad Mads is doing great at home. Get a nap while you can!

I don’t remember the eye surgery issue - what was that for?! Sorry about the mouth wound and you are right - they bleed like sieves!

For a really short post there is a lot of stuff here–tired me out.
And, though I knew nothing about it, I’m glad the eye surgery went well and everyone is home.
